While waiting patiently for a high school homecoming event to start I decided to play. After figuring out what settings were going to work to take pictures, from a distance, handheld, in a dark room, and make them look presentable. I started playing with longer shutter speeds and purposefully moving the camera. Needless to say all the decorative lights and table centerpieces made for an interesting photo.
